A hike between nature and words, along the trail that skirts Lake Cavedine and climbs to the ridge of Monte Gaggio, offering a stunning view of the lake below.
The route winds through a forest of hornbeam, ash, and downy oak trees growing on the ancient rocky debris of the Marocche, the oldest landslide in the Alps, and a unique geological formation.
Joining us will be Daniele Zovi, writer, nature expert and forest storyteller. At the end of the hike, at the Pedrotti Winery in Cavedine, he will present his book On the Alps, a Sentimental Journey.
