The FASI Speed Record Hunters brings together Italy's best Under 17 and Under 19 National Team climbers, alongside the top athletes from the Italian Youth Championships.
A competition dedicated entirely to speed, with one clear goal: to set a new Italian Speed Record. Each athlete has eight attempts to improve their time. The starting order is based on each climber's personal best and is updated after every round according to the latest results, making the competition increasingly exciting.
In speed climbing, only one thing matters: time. Athletes race side by side on a 15-metre standardised wall, identical all over the world, with holds always placed in exactly the same positions.
During the FASI Speed Record Hunters, each athlete has eight runs to set their fastest time. After every round, the starting order is reshuffled according to the latest results, creating new match-ups and keeping the pressure high until the very last attempt.
Explosive power, precision and nerves of steel: just a few seconds can be enough to make history and set a new Italian Speed Record.
