Forty years of climbing, told by those who lived it. It all began in Arco in 1986, on the rock of Monte Colodri. One year later, Rock Master was born, and in 1988 the Climbing Stadium became its home, witnessing the evolution of sport climbing ever since.
The Rock Master Legacy Talk brings this story to life through the memories, stories and anecdotes of some of its protagonists: Yuji Hirayama, Muriel Sarkany, Robyn Erbesfield, Didier Raboutou, François Legrand and Lynn Hill.
The conversation will be hosted by Adam Ondra, Event Ambassador of Rock Master 2026: a chance to relive some of the moments that have shaped the event, discover how climbing has changed over the past 40 years and look ahead to what comes next.
